First, I applied online, and my resume went through a recruiter. Had the first call with the external recruiter, and he did a great explanation about the role, the company and salary/perks.

Second, after some days, I had the first call with an employee who was barely able to speak English correctly. He asked a silly question about abstract classes and interfaces in Java, followed by ACID concepts. It was very tough trying to understanding what he said and meant since he was using a complicated process to ask questions. Besides this, I noticed he was having lunch DURING the interview — total lack of respect with a candidate.

Third, they sent a coding challenge. The primary absurd thing I noticed was an unprotected Github repo with PUBLIC ACCESS to all pull request solutions from other candidates TO THE EXACT SAME CHALLENGE. I solved the coding problem and sent it back to them. Almost three weeks later they wrote asking to move forward.

Next, a few days later I had a two-hour interview with four different guys asking LOTS of RANDOM questions about SQL, API design, Java code, streams, bit shifting, functional programming, database, transaction management, microservices, and data structure(mainly how to implement a double-ended queue FROM SCRATCH - WHO DOES THIS THESE DAYS ?). In some moments, given the questions, they asked I thought I had an interview for a rockstar position at a big silicon valley company, given the complexity level.

Subsequent, I noticed they put the questions in an abstract, hard to follow and poorly structured way, which made me confused lots of times. I got in some situations where even the interviewers became doubtful, getting lost didn't even know what to ask you next.

Overall, it was the worst interview experience I have ever had in decades. They don't even prepare for it; it is clear that there's no standard interview structure or process, a total deficiency of organization. The interviewers barely scam your resume WHILE INTERVIEWING YOU and doesn't seem to be able to interview candidates properly. I know what I'm talking about because I was one of the interviewers in the previous company I worked.

In the end, I felt disrespected as a candidate. The interviewers had my resume and my coding test, and it seemed to add nothing to the process — a total waste of time. Anyway, I am pretty sure I didn't make it . Even if I did, I would refuse an offer. All of these are visible symptoms of a toxic environment which I would like to avoid. I don't recommend unless you're totally out of options.

Was supposed to have a phone call, but they scheduled it and never showed up. Only after sending an email I was given a justification that the interviewer was stuck on traffic. I can easily understand that, but cannot comprehend why he did not even bother to give me a quick call or send a message saying he would be late. This is already a major red flag and I decided no to reschedule the interview.

I had been to their office in bangalore.
As the interviewer told to me It was knock out round ,I was not sure how many levels as I was rejected at second round.
I am adding review to make leaders understand how the interview is being taken here.
1 round:he told he will ask one programming and one design.
find second largest element in the array? He went out .I dont understand why the interviewer goes out ,if he had work he should not be taking interview. He should be their to understand how the candidate thinking to solve the problem
he came back after 10min and i explained the solution that i have written.
    design uber?
I hate this kind of question. As it is process of years of many architects to design uber.
I gave solution as per my understanding
    Second round:
This was interview with answers for me.He did ask question and he did answer himself and he was expecting me to give gap in this answer.
It was designing messaging queue ,sending messages to users .
explain me Oauth flow?he went out for 10min and came back.
I did give what is happening in our product. He was expecting what is happening in google oauth flow.there is a difference in the flow .

I was out after this round.
I would suggest to filter candidate based on resume and experience.Who can answer your design uber question. have a plan to filter a candidate

face2face interview in Noida office. Gate security is pathetic. If you are interviewer they show no respect, guard treats you like a sales man trying infiltration. Bad experience starts right from there.
HR is good, coordinates well and take care of arrangements.
    Interviews :
Pathetic experience with interviewers. Went through 2 rounds and both changed my mind from I want to be there to why am I here.

    Round 1:
Never understood what was the purpose of the interview. Questions were getting shooted like interviewer knows everything. For anything which you are not comfortable with, if you say you are not comfortable then he got more interested in that topic. He was trying to prove he knows everything instead of judging me if I am best fit for position or not. Asked about how https works, he repeated the same thing I said. hahahaha and was trying to proved I am wrong and he was right. He didnt know about Oauth JWT Asymeric and Symetric key but was expecting me to know everything OWASP.

    Round 2:
Growup guys, I mean seriously, GeeksForGeeks is only destination ? Well he understood only solutions mentioned on GeeksForGeeks. Question picked up from there. Expected answer exactly how was solved there. BTW the question was exactly same what I practiced last night and found solution excepted by hackerrank passing all the test cases. But he was expecting me to write the solution which was available on site. And funniest part I was asked to write the solution on paper pen, so when I completed the solution he was matching the opening and closing braces for solution written on multiple papers instead of checking for logic and running test example to prove the solution.

Guys, you are interviewing a candidate for a position in reputed organization. Respect your role as interviewer. Stop being childish.

I was called to a drive for the post of either Senior Developer or Team Lead. There were only two rounds - algo and design.

I cleared both the rounds. Then in the HR round, he said since they have some budget constraints. We had some discussions about my expectations with that intimidating HR. After some days, I got a mail asking for my documents to generate the offer letter. Then, I had no communication - I didn't know if it's a yes or a no.

I tried for a week and, somehow, was able to talk to the recruiting HR. She said they have put the role on hold. I don't think that's true. I told her we can negotiate if it's about the pay. One of my friend has also faced the same issue and they confirmed to him that it was about the pay.

I don't know why they called me and wasted both of our time despite knowing my profile and salary beforehand.

All the interviewer wanted was code. He gave a question and said me to write the code. I wanted to discuss the problem, but he didn't. He was only interested in code. It made the environment very harsh for me to continue with the interview. I again tried to discuss the problem and he said, "Where is the code?"

After this I lost interest in the company itself, as it wont be a great working environment too.
