    Interview Process was Pathetic, HR doesn't know a thing. They made me do one assignment and said it looks very nice but after few days when i followed up with the HR , she said i was not shortlisted. They made me wait for so long for the interview and they don't have a courtesy to even reply a mail that I was not shortlisted.

    i apply through the post in Linkedin there was walkin. First round was hr followed by two technical round each one round was elimination round. In the final interviewer was very arrogant in nature during whole interview he was trying to demotivate me and i heared from the other candidate with the same reply i have never ever face such kind if interviewer in my life i think name of interviewer was Prashant not confirmed forget him.

    I applied via connecting with HR, took numerous emails to get a revert. The whole hiring process was poorly managed, in which HR has no courtsey to send invite, confirm time, or even the media how the interview will happen. One of the worst HR team in the country.

    Process was consist of three rounds

    AGM - scheduled thrice as the person was always busy with some other thing during the scheduled time. generic discussion about the role and industry

    AVP - professional on-time, good discussion around profile, case studies, guesstimates etc.

    SVP - delayed again, had a lengthy discussion around case studies, guestimates, and some common puzzles. In the end, the feedback was that the SVP rejected me as I didn't have much b2c experience.

    First, I applied online, and my resume went through a recruiter. Had the first call with the external recruiter, and he did a great explanation about the role, the company and salary/perks.

    Second, after some days, I had the first call with an employee who was barely able to speak English correctly. He asked a silly question about abstract classes and interfaces in Java, followed by ACID concepts. It was very tough trying to understanding what he said and meant since he was using a complicated process to ask questions. Besides this, I noticed he was having lunch DURING the interview — total lack of respect with a candidate.

    Third, they sent a coding challenge. The primary absurd thing I noticed was an unprotected Github repo with PUBLIC ACCESS to all pull request solutions from other candidates TO THE EXACT SAME CHALLENGE. I solved the coding problem and sent it back to them. Almost three weeks later they wrote asking to move forward.

    Next, a few days later I had a two-hour interview with four different guys asking LOTS of RANDOM questions about SQL, API design, Java code, streams, bit shifting, functional programming, database, transaction management, microservices, and data structure(mainly how to implement a double-ended queue FROM SCRATCH - WHO DOES THIS THESE DAYS ?). In some moments, given the questions, they asked I thought I had an interview for a rockstar position at a big silicon valley company, given the complexity level.

    Subsequent, I noticed they put the questions in an abstract, hard to follow and poorly structured way, which made me confused lots of times. I got in some situations where even the interviewers became doubtful, getting lost didn't even know what to ask you next.

    Overall, it was the worst interview experience I have ever had in decades. They don't even prepare for it; it is clear that there's no standard interview structure or process, a total deficiency of organization. The interviewers barely scam your resume WHILE INTERVIEWING YOU and doesn't seem to be able to interview candidates properly. I know what I'm talking about because I was one of the interviewers in the previous company I worked.

    In the end, I felt disrespected as a candidate. The interviewers had my resume and my coding test, and it seemed to add nothing to the process — a total waste of time. Anyway, I am pretty sure I didn't make it . Even if I did, I would refuse an offer. All of these are visible symptoms of a toxic environment which I would like to avoid. I don't recommend unless you're totally out of options.

    Horrible process to sum up in simple words. The process happened on a Saturday where it was mentioned it is not a walk-in drive however turned out different. Huge number of candidates appear and no order was maintained for the calling the candidate for their rounds.

    The panel taking interview tried acting so smart and had no professionalism while taking interviews. The person who took my interview was completely involved in his cell phone (chatting). The worst part was he didn't had the sense of talking behaviour (no politeness) and presented himself super smart as he knows everything.

    All together completely worst experience could have gone to some other place and could have save my day.

    Pathetic interview process and the whole of Paytm is working in ambiguity. I believe that is the only English dictionary word they learnt from Mr Sharma. Ms Janaki thier Head TA, is a proper feminist professional on board. she was extremely rude and disregardful of anyone better than her. I felt disrespected by her behaviour and she should not promote an organization like Paytm. Moreover, she has zero understanding of what an Org chart is and how you check cultural fitment of candidates. Also, she has no work exp of working with Executive search so she has no clue whats it like on the other side of the table.

    Worst Interview Experience . It was a complete waste of time . They took 4 rounds and HR told me that everything is positive and we will update you in 2 days . That same day he asked for all the documents and discussed salary . Then after 45 days there is no response . HR is one of the worst . First there senior people will contact you through linkedin and schedule a interview . After 4 rounds and everything positive they won't contact you . Won't reply on phone / mails . Anyways i won't have joined the company like this . Stay away from this company .
