They hire a third party company called Karat to perform a 1-hour video coding interview. The interviewer stressed that a complete solution was of utmost importance and not necessarily how it was implemented. I got mixed up on one part but the interviewer wasn't giving me any pointers despite me describing my thought process along the way. I've never had a technical phone screen where the engineer was that quiet during the coding portion(not even Facebook, Airbnb, or Lyft). I got the solution in time, but I think they weren't happy with my confusion at one point and implementation. One cool aspect is that you have the option to re-do your interview before they send a response. I would've done it but I don't want to commit another whole hour to a third-party company interview. They didn't even do a behavioral phone screen lol
