In 2022 I had a 30-minute call with the Gallery Leader from NYC. She did most of the talking and didn't ask me anything. After that call, I never heard back until 2 months later. She e-mailed me and offered me the Design Consultant position because the position I applied for was filled. She suggested that "you could work your way up within the organization etc." I declined as I already accepted another job. 2023 RH was hiring again for the Advanced role, I applied and they scheduled a 30-minute call with me. This time it was their HR person who did the call with me. She told me the Advanced role was filled and she was trying to convince me to take the Design Consultant role. I declined after careful consideration, but I saw the job posting again within a month. It is clear to me that RH is using the Advanced role to lure interior designers to apply for the position, and then they try to persuade the candidates to take a different role.
