I had two rounds of interviews, both were very straightforward. The first interview was over the phone and I was asked pretty simple questions. The second interview was with a few staff members over zoom. They made the process comfortable and not intimidating. Be prepared by doing research on the organization and you will do great!
- What does diversity, equity, and inclusion mean to you and how has this influenced your work?

Screening call, interview with hiring manager, interview with hiring manager and VP, take-home assignment (no stipend), and interview panel with peers. I generally found the folks to be mission-orientated and thoughtful in the questions they asked. However, the process took almost 2 months and 10 hours of my time. As other reviewers have said, I never heard a decision from them after the final interview, and the role continues to be reposted. Not even a templated response telling me I didn't get the job after I invested so much time in the process. I'm not sure if it's lack of confidence in hiring decisions, red tape, or a lack of respect for candidates' time (or maybe all three). But I'd caution in engaging in the hiring process if you're serious about landing a position and have other, more responsive/respectful opportunities to choose from.
- Behavioral-based questions about past experiences and how they'd apply to the role

Was asked about project management and organization, people management and problem solving, student success strategies, and translating data into action for students. Started with phone screen asking about my interest in Reading Partners and how this fit with may career goals. Salary expectations.
- How do you use student data to drive towards your results for student outcomes?

I applied online and moved through the process quickly. Had an initial interview then more in-depth interview with the team. Was asked for my references which were checked but then did not hear back from them. I was told they would make a decision in a week, I would follow up and was told it would be another week. I found the lack of communication frustrating and disappointing.
- standard questions, tell me about a challenging time, how to communicate with your team.

Applied first , I was scheduled for phone interview with the recruiter and scheduled for another zoom interview with two different program managers. After a week from the interview was an offer letter

2 interviews with 2 managers. Usual questions. Why do you wanna serve? Weaknesses, experience with the kids. Questions about the community social justice and what sort you want to play as an americorps member
- Why do you wanna serve?

Very standard interview process. Clear communication and expectations; was made an offer and ultimately turned it down due to salary expectations. Was hoping more movement would be possible, but ultimately after negotiations there wasn’t much movement. Still a positive experience.
- I do not recall specifically

This was an extremely thorough and well-managed process. It had three interview steps: an initial screening (30 minutes), a topgrading interview (a 60-90 minute conversation focused on resume/past experience), and a competencies-based interview (four 30-minute one-on-ones with team members). The hiring manager was extremely respectful and timely with her communication, and I felt like they really got to know me well.
- Why RP and why now?

Lengthy, but thorough. The friendly staff made me feel comfortable and asked varying questions that helped demonstrate the intricacies of the role. Overall, the interview process took approximately 2 months and I spoke to 4 different panels.
- What would you consider to be your greatest strength?

There was a phone screening that was simple, about 15 minutes. After that there was a longer interview that lasted about an hour. There were two interviewers asking the questions.
- Most of the interview questions that were asked were behavior and situation questions.
