Interview Process:
I interviewed with Sebia for a Distribution Manager role in Atlanta, GA, going through three rounds. Each interaction felt promising, and the recruiter followed up after my final interview to ask how it went, which I appreciated. However, after that call, communication stalled.
Experience with Communication:
After a week of hearing nothing, I emailed the recruiter and received a response indicating they were “reviewing and making decisions next week.” Over a week has now passed with no further update, and I noticed the position was reposted three days ago. This silence after a fairly extensive interview process felt unprofessional and left me uncertain about where I stood.
Constructive Feedback:
While the interviews were positive experiences, clearer follow-up would have made a big difference. A quick email—even to indicate that they were moving forward with other candidates—would have left a better impression. Candidates invest a lot of time and energy in interviews, and timely updates would show mutual respect.
Overall Sentiment:
I enjoyed meeting the team, but the lack of communication after final interviews was disappointing and gave me pause about the company’s approach to candidate relations.
