J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Shell (Singapour) en janv. 2023

Only managed to make it to the virtual interview (Hirevue).
First round - game-based assessment.
Second round - online recorded interview.
Third round & onwards - ???
After applying online, received invitation to the game-based assessment. Within 24h, received review of results (no exact numerical score) and informed that I was rejected.
2 months later, saw that Shell had reopened applicants for the 2023 Graduate Program and reapplied to try my luck. Completed the game-based assessment and received the EXACT SAME results compared to my first application. However, this time, I got invited to do the Hirevue around 1 week later. After completion of the Hirevue, I have not heard back from them since (around 2 months and counting).
I have read before that Shell likes to do this kind of thing where they reopen their applications just so that they can collect data from their applicants. Never expected it to be true until it happened to me.
Later on, heard from a friend who also applied to the Shell Graduate Program that the company sent out an email to applicants saying "headcount is full", however, I never got that message.

The interview process focses on behavioral assessments and technical screenings. Candidates are tested on the "CAR" method, focusing on safety, leadership, and on job competence through structured and in depth questions.
The first round is a recorded video interview. You need to record some videos based on their questions. There were 3 questions or me, which is not very unique. About your project, your interest in Shell.
I recently completed a video interview on HireVue, and the overall experience was pretty interesting. The platform presented a large number of psychological assessment questions along with several prompts focused on workplace morality and ethical decision-making. I appreciated that HireVue allowed unlimited time to record and re-record my video responses, which took a lot of the pressure off and made the process feel more flexible and less rushed.
Each portion of the interview was fairly in-depth and required thoughtful answers, so it ended up taking around 30 minutes per section. The combination of the structured assessments and the freedom to redo videos made the entire interview feel thorough but manageable.
