Applied online. Two weeks later, a recruiter reached out to set up a 30 minute phone screen. I thought the phone screen went well and the recruiter informed me that I should hear back regarding next steps within a few days. Once I didn’t hear back from the recruiter within the allotted time, I reached out as a follow up, but unfortunately didn’t get a response back. I reached out two more times a couple weeks later, and still no response. Filling out applications and completing interviews is not only already time-consuming, but nerve-wracking enough. The job hunt is already scarce as it is, since the world is dealing with a pandemic. I just wish recruiters would be more courteous in letting candidates know their status, whether they’re moving forward or not. It doesn’t take too much time out do the day to send an email back to a candidate.
