I was called for an interview in their headquarters. Before the interview I was asked to complete an online test related to the role and another on attention to detail. On the interview they made me many questions and a few types of tests to assess my way of thinking. They were relaxed and seemed to be having fun.

very strange process, lots of advantages and benefits from working at the company but the environment was very weird very quiet people were looking at me entering the office through their side of the eyes.

I was contacted by the CEO - we had met before in London (for another position) and I had recently located to Lisbon, so it was a nice surprise to reconnect.

Interview
I believe that you can tell a lot about the company by the interview, and you can tell that a lot of effort goes into the candidate experience.

The CEO shared a lot of information on the status of the company and he was transparent on his expectations of building a founding sales team.

It was a thorough interview process that was crammed into a few weeks. It started with an in person meeting, which isn’t typical at Swogo but made sense given that we’d spoken in the past. After that I was asked to come back and do a sales presentation, a product demonstration over the phone and a further final interview.

The offer was competitive and the compensation for over exceeding is fantastic. I’m glad I accepted the offer and really happy. The team we’ve built are great - we broke a sales record in our first month and I’ve had the opportunity to go to Paris and Las Vegas in my first few months in the role!

I’ve never felt so welcome in such a short time.

I had three interviews, which all went exceptionally well. However, only after the third interview they decided to tell me that my qualifications do not match what they are looking for, even though they matched almost exactly what they were looking for. How does it take three interviews to realize that. Waste of time...these people are inexperienced and do not know how to speak english. Do not waste your precious time, and save yourself. Also, every single interview is the exact same, same questions over and over again.

The Interview Process was exactly what you would expect from a fast-growing company, focused on hiring the best-performing people across their departments.

As soon as you get in contact with any manager or person that works at Swogo you quickly understand that they have the highest expectations from their candidates.

The Process for AE was incredibly thorough, it made me understand quite quickly the type of company I would work for if/once hired. I spoke directly with the CEO of the company at first, once qualified for the next steps I have got introduced to investors and other managers of the company.

As an AE I felt the process was very much like following an account.

I recommend to any that would go through this process, regardless of the outcome, to learn from this and keep notes.

1 in person interview plus lunch w/Anthony & Chris - @Lisbon

Overall, I really enjoyed the process!

Got an offer but had to decline due to relocation to another city.

Anybody would be lucky to join this core group of intelligent and friendly people!
