I applied online and roughly 3 weeks later I received the canned rejection email. 1 week later I received yet another canned rejection email. Then out of left field I received an email from HR asking me about my interest in the role and my availability for a phone interview. Strange.
I proposed an interview date and was promptly contacted by HR. I had what I considered to be a great conversation with the HR person, eventhough the hiring manager was far into the interview process, but I was told that the hiring manager still wanted to interview me.
The very next week an interview was set for me to meet the hiring manager. As I signed into the videoconferencing platform I waited for 5 minutes for the manager to join. It didn't happen. I proceeded to call HR to find out what happened and next steps. The HR manager assured me that I would get answers and that my interview would be rescheduled. It didn't happen. No explanation, no rescheduling of the interview, no apology for apparently being ghosted. Needless to say, I was disappointed as I felt this role would be perfect for me. Roughly 5-6 weeks later I received yet another canned rejection email from Tanium. This experience was absolutely awful and unprofessional yo say the least. More and more this seems to be a Bay Area kind of thing, where candidates aren't treated with respect. We seem to be so expendable to companies hiring able bodied candidates. Word to the wise, we are people looking in need of work, not to be discarded like trash. Please treat candidates with respect.

Applied for their marketing role and it was a disaster. It was a virtual call, and the first 10mins of the call, the interviewer mentioned that they have renovaters at their house and had to open the door for them. So they left the call to do that, and when they are back, you can tell they were totally unfocused at the next half of the call. And when asked questions, there wasnt any good response. Dont waste people time if you already do not want to interview that person.

Question 1
I cant even remember what questioned were. It was one basic question and then interviewer could not even focus on it
It was a pretty standard interview process. The recruiters always keep candidates informed. The extra communication is a nice personal touch. Everyone I met through the process was polite and professional.
One interview with hiring manager, one with the HR and I believe a few more with other stakeholders but unsure.
Ok, usually I wouldn't care to leave a review but this was probably one of the worst hiring experiences I've had with a hiring manager. I could tell this person had no hands-on marketing experience (minimal at best) and just read off a spreadsheet. I could go on and on but let's keep it short at that (for those with creative flair and hustlers, you know it's time to run).
