I applied to an AP analyst position and have a friend in HR who also forwarded my resume to the position's recruiter. I received a phone call from the recruiter a few days later and went through an informational interview with her. The next weel I was scheduled for an informal phone interview with the hiring manager. The next step was multiple interviews with the leaders in the AP department. This consisted of 3 seperate half hour interviews with 2 interviewers each. The interviews consisted of standard situational based questions. After completing the in-person interview process I heard back about 2 weeks later and was told that the position had been offered to another candidate; however, they hiring team had liked me and forwarded my information to another hiring manager who had an opening on her team. I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and was offered the position the next week.
