First round of interview was IQ and English After clearing that had 2 rounds of interviews. First was technical interview, which was 1 Hr long and then next round was mental stress round.

    Usually TCS has three interview rounds but we had only the online written test and the HR interview. We have registered in their website for freshers before 10 days of the selection process. The preparation for the interview began 30 days prior to the interview date. Apart from self preparation we had the opportunity for a model written test on TCS website.
    On the interview's first day we had to go through a online written test and the results were announced within 5 hours of the completion of the last batch. The next day there were 15 HR panels and each panel consisted of 2 HR people. When my time came I went into the panel with a formal excuse to enter the panel and there was a person from south India and a European lady. The lady requested to explain to them about myself and she was noticing everything from my verbal language to my facial expressions to the hand movements and the other person, the gentleman asked some technical questions from electrical side but unfortunately I was unable to answer most of them. Then he switched over to technical questions from computer science, mostly data structures and C - language and I remember giving them good arguable answers, finally they asked whether I would work at any location of the company's branch within the country or outside and obviously we all answered yes. Then the final results came and most got through.
    About the people, they all dressed in a simple manner and they expect only the real truth about you with no extraordinary abilities or flashy communication skills. For the interviewee please be simple in your dressing and be frank there is nothing wrong in failing to answer a few questions they only judge by your overall performance.

    Interviewer asked me about my birthplace. I don't why.

    But, later on he came over the technical area & asked me around 15-20 questions from C++ & operating system. Previously, he asked me the subjects to choose.

    In C++, he confused me with the questions on inheritance. Except one, I was able to answer all his questions. When I had satisfied him, he asked me whether I know Java or not. Later on, he asked me what's the basic difference while implementing inheritance in JAVA & C++. A few questions on abstract class.

    Then, he moved to the operating system & tried to compress by confusing between the addressing modes. I got a lot nervous & cannot remember anything related to it. I feel that I given the answers correctly.

    Later he asked me about TCS & truly speaking, I rote Wikipedia related to that. Later on, he asked me, what you know about TCS apart from the points, you learned from internet.

    I don't have any words related to this & just smiled over it.

    Then, he told me that whether I have a question in my mind. I replied him that, what's the requirement for promotion & after how many days, I will get an increment.

    Over that, he told me that promotion depends on 60% performance. Instantly, a question clicked on my mind (40% on what? Setting!) but had not crossed him. Again, he related increment with performance.

    He had a sheet with 5 rows based on Communication skill, technical knowledge & 3 others that I cannot remember now.

    With 4 columns labeled, poor, average, good & excellent. I just saw his markings. He ticked on excellent in case of communication skill, good in case of technical knowledge & in one row, ticked on poor (I feel that row belongs to knowledge about company).

    After qualifying, I got my offer letter next day in my inbox.

    It was through campus drive. Walkin interview since I had 75%+ in 10th and 12th and 8.25+ CGPA. Three rounds of interviews
    1.Technical Interview- lasted for about 45-50mins covering every subject i named i had studied.
    2.Mgmt review-Its just introduction and briefing
    3.HR-Dint interview me due to shortage of time

    We had a personal cum technical interview.
    Questions were based on basic knowledge of DBMS, CN, C/C++, JAVA.
    First question is about yourself, then about your qualifications and your specialties. Then about your favorite subjects and a subject from there choice.
    Then we had a surprise GD round but no one was eliminated in the GD round.
    Topic was to be selected by the students itself..

    We had three rounds
    1.Quantitative Aptitude
    2.Technical and Managerial Intrview
    3.HR Interview
    5 top students from each branch were exempted from Apti test.
    I was not from the exempted slot but passed through all three rounds..it took us the whole two days but it was a good experience..Most of the questions for both Apti and other two rounds are not of an unexpected kind but from thoseonly which u can easily google and find out from various sites and blogs related to TCS.

    written test was completely based on aptitude questions of TCS pattern. it just require a clear understanding of the concept of questions.
    Technical round was completely based on the questions from the subject of your choice which u have prepared for the interview.
    HR was the easiest. It basically tests our confidence and communication skills/
