After passing a phone interview, I came into the office to meet with the VP of Sales, Director of Sales, and other sales managers. I was given a tour of the facility, shadowed a few employees, and given all the time needed to ask questions to the team. Expectations of the role were clear, as well as the vision for company and departmental growth.

The recruiter reached out to me via my LinkedIn profile. Conversation went well and was proceeded to the next step. Another stage of interviews with Hiring Manager and Sales VP. The 2nd step was a generic interview with no substantial questions, which led me to quickly believe they were simply going through the motions to satisfy laws and regulations, and then low and behold promoted an internal candidate. What a waste of time
