I did an in person interview in Newton, IA. The engineering team was very friendly and down to earth. However, their work area was repulsive. Tacky paint, dirty cubicles and floor, and just overall outdated. I couldn't see myself working there, plus the 40 min + commute from Des Moines was more than desirable.

Applied online. Received an email from the HR to schedule a phone interview. In the interview she asked out of the box questions. She also told me to speak slowly as she was taking the notes. I said sorry and resumed the conversation. I felt that the interview went okay. After our call the HR never responded. I regularly emailed her and requested for another opportunity but no reply! I feel the behavior of the HR was very disappointing. She should have emailed me back with a reject.
