UNPROFESSIONAL. OFFER RESCINDED before hiring manager's deadline. I met great product leaders and AI SME's in the interviews. I received offer on a Friday afternoon, I asked Monday for time to do my due diligence, and recruiter agreed Tuesday morning saying "Hiring manager would request a decision by COB Friday." When I called back Friday well before his deadline to accept, the offer was already rescinded as the hiring manager had quickly moved the opening elsewhere. This was a near miss from terrible management.
Acting in a rushed haze is ineffective for establishing baseline credibility in any company, building reliable stakeholder relationships, and showing value worth investing in. As an industry leader I've helped secure multi-year enterprise business for UiPath. Unfortunately this textbook unprofessionalism reflects terribly on UiPath's AI efforts. I nearly joined a promising, talented group, but beware any relationship with this manager as a potential co-worker, partner, or customer.
