Received a voice-mail requesting that i give them a call back in regards to this position. So i did. It was a bit hard to get a hold of HR had to call several times until i could speak o someone. She finally called back and i had what i think was a brief interview. She asked me if i would be able to commute there since i reside in Toronto and the office is in Brampton. Then she asked me if i had completed my degree and what i wanted to do with it. I told her Human Resources Mgt and it seemed to put her off. Some other pointless questions followed and she was especially concerned with whether i wanted to get into HR in future. I tried to relay that i was really interested in any managerial experience but she wouldn't let me speak, she kept cutting me off..."but what do you want to do in the LONG TERM". I am not sure what she wanted me to say. It sounded like a trick question to me whereby any answer would have been a wrong answer. 2 days later i received an email stating they had better qualified candidates for the position. I was a bit annoyed as to why you would call me to ask me things that are blatantly on my resume and then reject. oh well, not impressed by the recruitment process..good luck guys. cheers.
