I was interviewed for a position in trialpay team in San Francisco. First round was a 30 min tech screen with the hiring manager followed by a one hour hackerrank. Next round was two one hour Skype video technical interviews with 2 engineers from the team.

They dont do onsite but they do a three Skype video interviews. I had 3 video Skype interviews (one with hiring manger and two with Sr Engineers on the team each for an hour). Recruiter got back to me saying that feedback was positive and next was a one hour interview with the VP and mentioned that would be the final one. Interview with VP went well and he mentioned that they would get back to me soon.
I reached out to the recruiter to check if he had got any feedback and he mentioned that he would let me know soon. It has been two weeks since I was interviewed by the VP and tried reaching out to the recruited but they have ghosted me completely.

Here is the advice to the recruitment team in Visa
You have all the right to reject the candidate if the team does like the candidate but after the candidate has spend 8 hours interviewing with you it is a basic courtesy for you reply to the candidate/ let him know what is going on.
I am sorry to say this but this is highly unprofessional on the VISA part

    No value for candidates time, the questions are nothing great/just a copy paste from standard websites.

    I interviewed at visa, I executed each and every program with complete test coverage and time and space complexities.

    Everyone was very happy with the interviews, the only catch was they wanted me to start as early as next week after the interview which is outrageous and impossible for me at that time(before the interviews I made sure the start date was at least 4-6 weeks from interview and the recruiter agreed to it.)

    After the interview they asked if I can start soon and I gave my answer. That was the last call with them.

    It has been one month after the interviews now and after two follow ups they sent an e-mail saying they enjoyed talking to me.

    Needless to say I would never interview with this company again.

    The team was called Mapped.

    Hackerrank test, Coding round with the Director, Onsite. I have given lot of interviews with different companies so far, but this is the only company that has employees with too much attitude who insults the interview candidates. I work for a startup and my company provides security solutions for Cloud. The interviewer who was a senior engineer and worked at Visa for almost a decade had no idea of what my company does, but told in a sarcastic way that nowadays startups using the word "Cloud" and "AI" is more like buzz words and never let me explain. I felt very bad. I would never reapply for any job at this Company.

    2. Onsite had 4 rounds
         Round 1 : manager and system design round.
        Round 2: API implementation round
        Round 3: brief chat with a junior Engineer : he was really not interested in interviewing so he walked me around the office .
    Round 4: coding . Leetcode medium question .

    I don’t know why did they reject me because after every round , they gave me a positive feedback saying you have done very good . However they did not rejected me right after onsite . If you don’t get a reply from visa within 2-3 business days after your onsite , then consider yourself as rejected . I had to follow up with them for several weeks and finally reached out to the manager to ask for the decision on LinkedIn.

    I applied through an online opportunity for a Senior Software Developer and I got a contact email from a recruiter. The first step was a HackerRank test with about 23 questions about Java concepts, Multithreads, Coding, Design Patterns, etc. Then, a week later I did a phone interview with a basic exercise, explaining how to solve a situation using Command Pattern. I'm still waiting for feedback about the interview process. I did send emails to the recruiter and I did not get any answer.

    One HR contacted me and scheduled time slot for the phone interview. It is a phone interview taking about an hour. The interviewer firstly asked several questions about my resume then started to write codes on coder pair.

    Director was not interested in the interview. Was using phone all the time during interview. Does not understand coding still asked coding and didn't understand anything I explained. Because of this I got rejected even when I did all the technical rounds really good.
    Visa's interview process is horrible. Recruiter does not know what they are doing.
    Director acted as if he knew everything(Lol).

    Applied online, got an email from a recruiter to schedule an online coding interview with a Director. The director was very unpleasant, we directly jumped to the coding exercise which consisted of 1 question. The question was quite ambiguous and vague without any use cases and there with a lot of assumptions to be made. I successfully covered all cases but the interviewer told me that I should have made all the assumptions before starting so that we could avoid back and forth and was asking me to come up with real-life uses cases instead of providing one. Well, I believe when asking a very open-ended question, one should be able to discuss and write the solution rather than have everything pre-planned. At the end of the call, the interviewer told me good luck on the job search. Such a waste of time. Seriously this is not a proper tech company and I am glad I didn't get through. One word to describe - Unprofessional!!

    Interview process lasted for a period of 2 months. The location of the team that interviewed me was from Austin, Texas. The questions ranged from basic java questions to solving dynamaic programming questions on coderpad.
