I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter. Our conversation was brief, because he offered no useful information about the role or WebMD. I know it’s a well known brand but I do expect to learn about the work and it’s expectation, etc. He asked me no questions that assessed my ability for the role or my fitness under the division of responsibility I would own. I even asked if there were any questions about my background and experience. Still, very little engagement. He was to touch base after and it’s been two weeks +. It was a pathetic show of interest and quite unprofessional, but given the ratings (2.9?! Yikes—someone should do something about your unhappy team members,) I suspect it runs through the company’s veins. I’m withdrawing my candidacy because I can do better than a company with indifferent talent agents.

Phone interview w/in house recruiter. This was followed by in-persons with direct report, engineer and design teams. The last was an in-person with the hiring manager. I received a call from the recruiter a day after my last interview.
