      Entretien pour Administrative Assistant/Scheduling Assistant

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez WideNet Consulting (Bellevue, WA) en févr. 2016

      Entretien

An initial phone interview with the recruiter, followed by in person with 2 recruiters, followed by a phone interview with the client, and then an in person interview with the client. All that was fine, but the first recruiter I spoke with flat out lied about the position to get me into the office. She noted during the first phone session that the job was a temp, with the possibility of hire if the client liked me. I initially declined as I felt that the job was way below my skill level, but she insisted, so I went on with the interview process figuring that it doesn't hurt to speak with anyone. During the interview it was clear that she REALLY wanted to place me there and insisted that if the company like me I could stay on as long as they needed me with the strong possibility of being hired, but I was still concerned about being bored at the job. After her EXTENSIVE sales pitch she invited another recruiter to join the interview. It was then that I learned that the job had ALREADY been filled, but that person couldn't start until June. I again voiced my concern about the job description vs. my skill set, but they still insisted, so I agreed to speak with the client, at least maybe then I would get come clear answers. Which I did, and it reinforced the fact that it was not the job for me. If only the first recruiter had listened to me everyone would have been saved a lot of time. FYI Wide Net: because of this I have advised against using you to everyone I speak with, both fellow job seekers and companies. Please do everyone a favor and train your recruiters in moral and ethical sales tactics.
