What is the probability of having a least 2 heads when tossing a coin 5 times?
From what I understand the answer is 5/16? From a decision tree, we can see that there are 2^5=32 possible outcomes of flipping a fair coin 5 times. The number of times we get two specific heads in these 5 flips is 5C2=10. P(2 heads)=(number of outcomes in which 2 heads occur)/(number of total outcomes)=10/32=5/16
it saids atleast 2 heads. That is P(3)+P(4)+P(5) heads. The answer is 0.5
