Can you explain to me how your prioritize your backlog?
2 réponses↳
I have no idea of what answer they are looking for. Three of the four people in the initial loop asked this and I think they were looking for the kind of answer that only somebody in their team would know. Moins

My guess is they are looking for affirmation that you have agile experience. One of the tenets of agile is having a well-groomed backlog and that means, absolutely, that the stories are rank-ordered. The benefit to the team is clear direction on what to work on next. A program manager acts as a hub to get confirmation from all stakeholders and maintains the backlog in a system like Jira so the next sprint picks up the next highest ranked feature. And--surprise--priorities change so what was number 10 last week could become #1. So your answer should indicate how you communicate with the stakeholders and ensure current priorities. Moins

It would be of great help if you could share more about the specific team and questions you were asked. We could also take this chat on email if you prefer that. Moins

Hi! As an Amazon employee who interviewed and hired a lot of people here, I've created a guide that has all the questions and winning answers from an Amazonian recruiter perspective. Please check it out at interviewjoy.com/services/interview-process-details/amazon-senior-manager-interview-questions/ . Pls also check the positive feedback at the bottom of that page! Thanks. Moins

Tell me about a time when you had conflict with someone on your team (who was not a direct report) and how you handled it.

It does not matter that conflict is with direct report or other. Only technique that works in this situation is crucial conversation. seek an opportunity to create a win-win situation through understanding the objective other and your self is holding for this conflict. Moins

I explained my experience with quality management systems in past positions

Tell me about my projects that aren't public information. Tell me about how much you've stalked me in prep for this interview. Lots of standard boring behavioral interview questions.
1 réponses↳
I shared some of the stalking I did for the interview while trying not to look at their lazy eye. Have your star stories in order, even if they're completely fabricated, as no one cares. Based on the quality of most of their hires, I imagine most are fiction anyway. Moins
