1) The HR department should be much more focused on the suitability of the candidate for the position with the required skills (even for an internship) rather than prior work experience related to the industry itself -especially for an internship!!! 2) I believe the face to face interview would be much more effective if one senior employee working in the department related to the position would join the interview. 3) I personally did not appreciate interacting with the HR staff as I was under the impression they interacted with me as a "file" rather than "an individual" (lack of warmth) 4) It seems they are looking for "Unicorns" to fill the position of an intern ; An Unicorn represents the perfect candidate of their dream thus looking for it, prevents HR people from recruiting potential candidate who can bring extra value through their diverse background and experience to the company (especially for the advertising industry!) In my opinion, it shows a narrow minded approach in terms of hiring and recruiting people. Moins
