### what is printer spooler

i didn't really know the answer but i was attempt to answer based of the specific word in the question like when i heard printer i assume this is related to printer driver solution the answer was wrong of course. Moins

So for N overlaps, we have T = T/12 + N. Thus, the hands of a clock overlap 22 times a day. The first time the minute and hour hands overlap, the minute hand would have completed 1 lap more than the hour hand. So we have T = T/12 + 1. This implies that the first overlap happens after T = 12/11 hours (~1:05 am). Similarly, the second time they overlap, the minute hand would have completed two more laps than the hour hand. So for N overlaps, we have T = T/12 + N. Since we have 24 hours in a day, we can solve the above equation for N 24 = 24/12 + N 24 = 2 + N N = 22 Moins

I would have answered Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, or Michael Dell. Names that most folks would be able to relate to and understand while seeing them as innovators. Moins

### Troubleshooting issues like how to fix printers that wont print, how to fix Internet connectivity issue, network connectivity issue etc.

I answered the above questions from experience. Without an experience you would be able to give simple answers to those questions Moins

If the printer is a network printer check the network cable if it is working, 2. check your computer if the cable or the printer driver is install in your computer 3. if it is a stand alone printer check the printer cable whether is connected or not 4. install the printer software in the computer Moins

I answered the question with 20 possible solutions, all of which would have had a high probability of working. However, they were looking for a very specific answer about the print spooler. One of my solutions to install manufacturer print software, in most cases, actually resets the print spooler upon installation. So my method would have worked the majority of the time according to the interviewers explanation. That was the only question he asked, and somehow he was able to gather all he needed to know about my years of experience and technical abilities with a 2 minute question about a printer. We had a guy run out of the office nearly crying after a logic question offended his mental capacity.... Must be the same guy that posted "Decline offer" review. Also, the guy that wanted to "Reinstall Print Driver" because that's all he knew to do - please understand, we aren't looking for bots that go to reset button in every situation, we evaluate your ability to demonstrate troubleshooting skills. If you don't have them, we don't hire you. Moins

If you have any kind of talent? Any inkling of how computers work, do not get a job at NTT DATA working the help desk. There is a manager there that will isolate you, prevent you from speaking with your coworkers, and destroy all credibility you have as a person. Furthermore, if you need to have work done on your gear, and this may not be a problem if you are any of the above, nothing they do follow best practices for IT as a business or the servicing of your gear. You will be asked to work overtime constantly and eventually, you will find you have had enough. Maybe sooner than I did. They don't want computer people, they want people off the street with no talent for hardware that can sound nice on the phone. I would not send anyone to work there that has any knowledge of how to service a computer whatsoever. If you want to make some money keep looking to Omaha or some other place. Glassdoor will tell your pay there runs 38 percent lower than anywhere else that needs help desk people in the county. Moins
