The US team is building a great culture independent of the French team, you have autonomy to do your job, a FANTASTIC manager on the US team, amazing co-workers.
360Learning has been growing, receiving funding, and winning successes, which is great for the company overall. However, senior management are running the company like it is still a small team based in France - outdated tools, siloed teams, slow to change and innovate. Many times when a company has grown, it also means that leadership has to grow, too. The current founders are not high leadership quality, especially for a burgeoning US team, which leads to lack of trust and lack of confidence in the direction of the company.
Conseils à la direction
It is nothing personal, but the founders need to be replaced. With the size of the company and the investment received, we need founders that are strong leaders, that can evoke energy and confidence about the future of the company, that are willing to change tools and processes that hold us back from growth, and can take us into the next stage. Even something as simple as holding an All-Hands meeting on schedule, on time, and with enthusiasm - basics for a leader that currently are not being fulfilled. The company prides itself on Convexity standards but these are not being met, especially when it comes to feedback and transparency, as only positive feedback is welcomed and allowed. I would encourage the company to create a space for constructive and even negative feedback so these types of issues can be internal and have an opportunity to be addressed internally. There's a lot of good at this company and potential for more good, but you will continue to lose highly skilled employees if you do not have strong leaders.
