J'ai travaillé chez Amazon à temps plein (Moins d'un an)
Respectful, supportive, easy, good pay, other benefits
fast work, attendence points, ratings
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris +4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à Amazon (Brampton, ON (Canada)) en avril 2021.
Got an e-mail from HR stating I was selected for an interview & would hear from recruitment shortly.
A couple of business days later I received an e-mail. Encapsulated in that e-mail was Amazon’s leadership principles, guides on the position & a survey. In the survey, there were a number of things covered: preferred locations to work(ranking), availability to start the position & interview dates.
Interview day came, & well, you’re thrusted into a breakout room with multiple people interviewing for the same role as you, albeit they may be in different parts of the country. You are scheduled for 2 back-to-back interviews soon thereafter with OPs managers. They both liked me, so I received the job offer about 11 days later.
One thing to note, though, is they want ALL of your time. You’ll see clearly that in the offer.. you’re at their(Amazon) whim. There is no description of hours because it’s a 24/7 operation; there is only an indication of days per week worked, which means you may work 10 hrs one day and 14 the next. I wasn’t committed to leaving the job I am in now for a 50% total comp bump to be on my feet all day, at the whim of the company & enter a revolving door of attrition.
High-Pay. Low WLB. High Attrition. Take at your own risk if you can make it through the meat grinder to greener pastures.
