Je travaille chez Capital One à plein temps (Plus de 3 ans)
Benefits are second to none
Parties and socials, they reward staff well and there are always things to get involved with, vouchers and thank you's at Christmas.
Non managerial colleagues
London Offices are great, Nottingham have a subsidized restaurant.
Huge diversity issue- two senior female leaders here and that's where it stops, they have big goals to achieve a better gender balance and BAME representation but no actual will or motivation to get to it.
Old fashioned interview process that makes you doubt your ability, and you will almost always be interviewed by a while male.
Management is archaic, certain areas of the business in particular have management with 10+ years tenure and no openness to a change in ways of thinking. HR have no interest in feedback, they just want to hit their curve on their out of date performance management and creating a dog eat dog environment in order to get the rating you deserve.
Certain stars of the business are over looked in favour of people who's faces fit, very cliquey in that respect.
Conseils à la direction
Change your performance management, review the performance of those people with a strong 'personal brand' and shoddy work output, encourage recognition for people who are naturally introverted.
J'ai postulé via un établissement de l'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire.. J'ai passé un entretien à Capital One (Nottingham, Angleterre (Royaume-Uni)).
Capital One offered this role is partnership with my University, after submitting my Cv I was sent some tests to do, they assessed my written communication skills, maths skills and decision making skills to see how I aligned with the companies ethics and culture. Having been successful in this i was invited for interview, it was a reasonably relaxed interview where the questions guided you and was overall a pleasant interview. Even though I did not get the role the experience was very valuable and I was given helpful feedback which helped me get my current role and improve my CV
