Good pay and benefits and proximity to the city of madison
Horrible place to work. Manager and leadership don't care about your growth or what you have to say. They only want to here how well they are doing even though they really are not. They Hire PhD's to show that they are doing important work to senior management but reality is they don't want them there. They want people who obey and do what is told and that is not a place for someone to grown and learn. High salaries and compensations turn into conversation where your manager tells you that you get paid too much for what you are doing even when there is lack of direction and support. Employees leaving this organization in that past 3 years are evidence enough to know how bad of a place this is to work in regardless of what the GPW survey says. When you speak up this turns into retaliation and they give you a low rating and act like they don't know the rule while HR puts you on an improvement plan. This was especially the case with Niklas Schmidt and his team.
Conseils à la direction
If Cummins has a no-retaliation policy, I don't think these are being followed in satellite facilities such as Stoughton.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Cummins (Stoughton, WI (États-Unis)) en avril 2014.
I was contacted by a recruiter about a contract position with Cummins Filtration. The position required a working knowledge of Pro/E Creo. I interview in person and was shown a presentation about what the facility did, and I was shown an example of the type of projects I would be working on if I were to be hired. They asked me about my experience with Pro/E. I also described a design project I worked on in some detail. There weren't many behavioral interview questions. That might have been because it was a contract position that needed to be hired asap to do mostly modeling. After my interview I was given a part to model in Creo. The engineer and the HR individual who interviewed me were amicable.
