Je travaille chez FedEx à plein temps (Plus d'un an)
Reliable work, ok pay, cool co workers, no body breathing down your neck every 5 seconds. You get to meet some nice people
Too much work, no benefits, managers have no respect for drivers time. I lose about 30 or 40 dollars a week waiting to be dispatch due to incompetent warehouse workers. Contractors as well. They dump responsibility on other drivers by adding more stops to your route because someone calls out. When your salary pay, many things are in favor of wasting your time.
Conseils à la direction
Pay close attention to your hubs and stop pretending like us drivers are not their because we are and if it wasn't for us you wouldn't be in. Business. Also I see a lot of safety 'tips, here's something to think about, stop giving an inhuman amount of work and maby drivers will feel just a little in patient and drive safer....

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à FedEx (Fullerton, CA (États-Unis)).
I had gone to 2 different locations to apply. 1st location was Anaheim. 100 people showed up for the observation so it took me 3 hours to wait to be selected through raffle ticket, then to complete the tour of the place. Went to apply on their computer next day, they called me for an interview next morning. 2nd location I went to was Fullerton. about 30 people showed up and it was a new facility so it wasn't as bad as Anaheim. A few days later Fullerton called me in for an interview.
Interview was very quick, they ask you if you have previously worked for a job that requires physical labor and if you are accustomed to working in different weather conditions. What your availability is and if you have reliable transportation and be on time. That's pretty much it.
It took them 3 weeks and 3 days to call me. They asked if I was still interested so i accepted. They said to come in for the orientation and to bring IDs.
