J'ai travaillé chez Fidelity Investments à temps plein (Moins d'un an)
Benefits, office perks, decent coworkers. Good job to have straight out of college, but they definitely throw you right into the role so be prepared to work with little to no guidance.
Work life balance can be difficult for this role because you’re expected to be the first one in & the last one out. You basically do everyone’s busy work & you don’t get compensated for it. The role has evolved a lot due to COVID, you’re basically doing the relationship manager role just without the extra pay. I worked in an investor center so you won’t be micromanaged, but it’s hard to do anything when you don’t know what to do. Clients can be hard to work with. If you’re not looking to get into sales don’t even bother. They advertise how quickly you can be promoted within the company but it’s harder than they make it out to be, doesn’t matter how long you’ve been there.
Conseils à la direction
Please have some sort of structure for new hires. You can’t throw people into the role & expect them to know what they’re doing!

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien à Fidelity Investments (Chicago, IL (États-Unis)).
Though I understand the benefit of using digital interviews, it is very impersonal and awkward for the candidate. Put me in front of a computer screen to talk to myself and time my responses, it is no wonder I might freeze up or stumble. I also am not sure where to look -- at myself? At the camera? It's strange. I don't believe this is a great way to get to know someone. Let's be human with each other and have an actual conversation. It doesn't take that long to make a phone call. If you are seeking a specific personality type like actors or television hosts who enjoy talking to themselves on a screen then this is a great method.
