Je travaille chez Fidelity Investments à plein temps
Great people to work with and clean office
You work on a team that is very micro-managed.
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien à Fidelity Investments (Westlake, TX (États-Unis)) en novembre 2020.
First was a virtual interview with about 5 questions. Fairly easy, you'll have 1 chance to retake each video response.
Second was a phone call interview. Lasts about 30min with the general questions, (Why Fidelity, tell me about a time, why would you be a good fit for this role)
Third was a English and math test that is timed 45 min. Then they will call you to discuss your results.
I didn't like the GATE test. I didn't realize it was timed so I didn't get to answer 5 questions which resulted in a fail.
The math questions were easy. Mainly calculating percentages.
The interviewer told me I did below average on those.
Example: "Flight is to wings as tree is to ______."
Now WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND CREATED THIS?!
The correct answer is the answer the creator chose. How is anyone supposed to know this? With the math section, I was confident knowing there will only be one correct answer.
With the "English" I found my self second guessing, therefore losing time.
The objective is to select "the most fitting" word and that correct word is based on someone else's opinion.
The interviewer also mentioned that she was only able to view correct or incorrect results. She couldn't see the actual question.
It was disappointing to me. I'm not sure how you can prepare for it. A test based on an unknown individuals opinion.
"Dark is to light as space is to _____."
Man.. lol I'm done. Best of luck.
