Je travaille chez Uber (Moins d'un an)
Flexibility, low barrier to entry
Disgustingly low driver pay rates; lip service to benefits for IC's; bonuses in some markets are easily achieved, but a joke;
Conseils à la direction
You have a lot of driver/partners who have left other professional careers where they have been successful. You might want to listen to some of them, and ditch some of the kids who work for you in management decision-making.
Uber needs to look at the airline industry, and decide if they want to end up like PeopleExpress, or do they want to end up like Delta. The taxi industry has been defeated. Whichever service figures out first that they can make a profit, charge pax a rate significantly less than taxis and still pay to keep good drivers; and stop with ridiculous expansions and forays into autonomous vehicles (you won't last at this rate until that day, so it's wasted money) and focus on delivering a good, affordable service that people want to use, will dominate the market that has been created.
If not, some of those former professional managers who drive now, will figure this thing out, and start their own rideshare business that can win. They just may wait until Uber fails to do it right.
Or, maybe Uber/Lyft are WebVan and the model is doomed. If so, then my advice to management is get out while you still have other people's money.
