    2) People- best experience I have had at any company in terms of people I worked with directly and indirectly
    3) Growing company. It's always exciting to be with a fast-growing company

    Entretien de Junior Software Engineer

    Candidat à l'entretien anonyme - San Francisco, CA (États-Unis)
    Aucune offre d'embauche
    Expérience positive
    Entretien facile

    Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris +4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à Credit Karma (San Francisco, CA (États-Unis)) en juin 2013.

    Entretien

I applied online via job boards Dice.com and got contacted by HR in a few days. After two phone interviews with different HR people, I was moved on to having a phone screen with a Development Manager. Most questions during the phone screen stage focused on my background and experiences. Two weeks later, I was informed that they would like to have an on-site interview.

The entire process of on-site interview was designed really good and friendly. First, I met one HR person, who helped me along the process. Then, I met one Development Manager, who the role I applied will report to, and then met two engineers. Both 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 interviews required white-boarding. After that, two engineers took me for the lunch and VP of Engineering showed up after we came back from the lunch. Those rounds primarily focused on behavioral questions.

I was really impressed with everyone's professional performances and company's atmosphere as a great start-up. One of best interview experiences I've ever gone through.

    Questions d'entretien d'embauche

    • Prior to the on-site interview, I spent most time on reviewing and practicing algorithm problems from LeetCode, GeeksForGeeks, and Glassdoor.

During the on-site interview, I have been asked about simple SQL query statements and JavaScript programmings, which are supposed to be really easy for me and be solved without any hesitation. However, I did not recall those details immediately, which would impact on the decision that hiring committee made.   Répondre à cette question
