Je travaille chez Exelixis à plein temps (Plus d'un an)
The company‘s visions are the SVPs mission.
The worker bees are a dedicated group and most of them are good people.
New VP has own motivation. His/her vision doesn’t align with the company model.
VP doesn’t check for facts and allows others with questionable character to influence decision.
Unless you’re willing to go for the jugular don’t apply. It’s a cut throat environment, which is heartily encouraged by EXEL’s Executive Management.
It’s a hostile environment so watch your back, side, and front. Keep an eye out for those willing to step on others to get ahead. They use subterfuge, lies, and fake comrade to get ahead. Make sure you don’t have tire tracks everywhere.
Conseils à la direction
Pay attention to your workers. Good Leaders “listen”, observe and gather facts, than act, not re-acts.
When employee leave it’s time to look in the mirror and this company has s history of low employee retention. Loyalty is a two-way street. If you don't have a passion for people. You have no business leading them!"
The VP and ED’s are in the wrong company with no passion for the people, they are"serving". This is why employee engagement is at an all-time low. More than ever we need leaders who will stand on INTEGRITY and put people first. A little respect and empathy goes a long way.
J'ai postulé via une recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé une entrevue à Exelixis (South San Francisco, CA (États-Unis)) en janvier 2010.
Their hiring process is fine, although you have to interview with many people and the entire process can take months before you receive a job offer. First you have a couple of telephone screens, then you have a face to face interview with several employees then there may be a follow up telephone interview.
Questions d'entretien d'embauche
There is no opportunity to negotiate as the make it clear that an offer is the best and only one they will make.
