    Avantages

There are some very talented and friendly people working here. The work-life balance is very good.

    Inconvénients

There is a reason we dropped out of the best places to work list. Many of the most talented and driven employees get frustrated with the politics and the lack of innovation and leave within 1-3 years. I can't say I blame them.

    Conseils à la direction

The perception, among many, is that there is a "pay for politics" system, where you get paid well if you know how to play the game or if your manager is part of leadership's inner circle.

To beat the competition, we're going to need to address the politics issues and pay for innovation, not just performance.

    Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à Hotels.com (Londres, Angleterre (Royaume-Uni)) en juin 2019.

    Entretien

After an initial phone screening with HR I had a video interview with the creative director 3 months ago. The interviewer was 15 minutes late but was happy to extend the interview, which was fine but he had no regard for my time. In my experience video interviews are not ideal as they feel quite awkward, however, I thought it had gone well and I was looking forward to the next stage. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for any feedback despite sending follow up emails to multiple people. It is disappointing that they couldn’t spare 2 minutes to let me know either way. I know other people who have also been ‘ghosted’ even after onsite interviews at Hotels.com/Expedia so it doesn’t give a good impression of the company.
