J'ai travaillé chez Klement's Sausage en contrat permanent (Plus de 3 ans)
Most of people are great to work with and make work tolerable.
There are people in upper management (directors and above) that make your work day horrible and feel that they have the authority to override anyone's decisions (managers and below) without hearing the reasoning for the decision. They don't like to be challenged and you get either yelled at in front of other people or ostracized and belittled to make you feel like your inputs are worthless and don't matter. They like to promote people to positions that they are not ready for and give no help to them. They just let them fail and then move them to where the previously were or to another position. They do not deal with problem employees and tend to move the person who complained or move the problem to another area. When people are fired or quit they like to take their work load and dump it into other employees laps with empty promises that it will be taken away when they hire a replacement and then "forget" about it and you continue to do your job and someone elses. They promise you that you will be able to go to training and then turn around the send other people who were hired after you that it does not directly involve their position. There tends to be a lack of professionalism in employees and the environment then suffers from such.
Conseils à la direction
Learn to treat your employees with respect and make them feel like they are a valued member of the company.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé une entrevue à Klement's Sausage (Milwaukee, WI (États-Unis)).
Initial 15-20 minute phone call. Then face-to-face with a variety of people including answering a list of questions liken to "Tell me about a time when...." situations. Overall time was about 2 hours. Very thorough.
