    Avantages

    There are many great people working at TeamSnap, all the way up to the C level. The remote culture works and is a large part of why so many extremely talented people land and stay at TeamSnap. Work/Life balance is real and not just a company talking point.

    Inconvénients

    I don't think there are any cons unique to TeamSnap compared to another other company at this stage. We have aggressive goals and some champagne problems that come along with scale, etc.

    Conseils à la direction

    Delegation is great, but I think you can be a bit too removed. I think you have great intentions and getting a little closer to things might give additional insights and improve execution.

    J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à TeamSnap (Boulder, CO (États-Unis)) en décembre 2019.

    Entretien

    One of the best interview experiences I've ever had. I had 4 interviews at TeamSnap and each one was a pleasant experience. All interviews were done over phone or Zoom.

    The first interview was a 30 minute phone screen with the recruiter. The second was with an engineering manager who gave me a more in-depth overview of the engineering teams at TeamSnap. The third interview was a panel with 4 other engineers/prospective teammates where they asked questions about my background as well as some scenario based questions. The final interview was with the hiring manager.

    Every person I met with along the way was kind, appeared to be low-ego and had a good grasp on the company and their processes. This is the first loop I've been through as an engineer that did not involve any coding exercises or homework, I hope more organizations adopt this style of interviewing!
