J'ai travaillé chez Toyota Technical Center en Contrat Permanent (Pendant plus de 5 ans)
Good people, great products, exposure to many functions, opportunities to work abroad, stable, good benefits, constantly growing and gaining responsibilities
Early morning or late night meetings with Japan, cyclical nature of projects create some very heavy workloads, professional development plans could be improved, some managers are managers only because of technical expertise instead of leadership potential, some managers are assigned too big a team
Conseils à la direction
Be more strategic with how to plan professional development for team members, do a better job training managers with how to coach, and avoid running so lean that managers have too many reports
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé une entrevue à Toyota Technical Center.
The interview process included a phone interview that lasted about 45 minutes and a second interview that included a short live assessment testing programming and Japanese proficiency. While this assessment is generally completed in person and on campus, the kind people at Toyota worked with me to instead conduct the assessment live over Skype. Communications were through a recruiter.
