About the Role

We are in search of a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our customer base within the South Coast of France. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in relationship building and sales. You will be primarily focusing on introducing our company and product line to decoration and interior design shops, and creating mutually beneficial partnerships. Regular travel will be a significant part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective customers' business needs.
• Connect with potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives to promote our product range.
• Develop and manage client portfolios; nurture new relationships to drive sales growth.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and targets.
• Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or a relevant role in the retail or interior design industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Strong market knowledge, particularly in the decoration and interior design sectors.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
