MANAGER, FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (FP&A)

This position reports directly to the CFO and will have direct contact with the executive team.

We are seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis who will:

- Develop and manage a bottom-up forecasting process;
- Provide monthly actual to budget variance analysis
- Assist in developing and monitoring key performance indicators
- Partner with Program and Business Development managers to incorporate relevant financial analytics into the forecast
- Assist with monitoring and report on business development pipeline forecasts
- Prepare project budgets and monitor financial progress
- Perform complex financial reporting analysis for program & executive leadership
- Develop effective reporting schedules and provide insights for executive leadership
- Build strategies to identify financial risks in partnership with the CFO
- Establish and monitor program budgets, analyze metrics and projections
- Report to the CFO and interact directly with company leadership

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience with leadership in an accounZng or finance funcZon of a high performing technology firm
• 4+ years of experience with financial planning and analysis
• Expert knowledge of excel, including creaZon of detailed financial models
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator
• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Must be willing to work full time in our Leesburg, Virginia office

These Qualifications are a Plus:

• Familiarity with financial reporting requirements in compliance with GAAP
• Current or previous experience with a federal government contractor
• Previous public accounting experience a plus
