Avantages

No positive remarks other than I met some good people here (that don't deserve to be in SecHQ) that I hope I will stay in touch with.

Inconvénients

I worked at SecurityHQ long enough to feel compelled to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. While every workplace has its challenges, there were several consistent issues at SecurityHQ that significantly impacted the work environment and employee morale. - Poor Management: Management will gaslight you, force you to work 12+ hours a day including weekends on unusual schedules, and will force you into the office. Decisions were made without consulting the staff, leading to confusion and frustration among employees. - Lack of Support: Even with the terrible work balance and all the work you'll be forced to put in, it seems management goes out of its way to nonsensically deliver a terrible product that does not work. If you're a Cyber Security Manager, you'll have to hear clients (rightfully) complain about the terrible service day in and day out. - Unreasonable Workload: Unrealistic expectations, quarterly service reviews on-site for 10+ clients, really? All the while dealing with putting out fires daily and on weekends. - Toxic Work Culture: The company culture was often negative, with instances of favoritism and a lack of respect for employees' well-being. Management is composed of sociopaths. Constructive feedback was rarely appreciated, and there was a general sense of discontent among the staff. Management will lie to you, as well as lie constantly to customers (I have known to bend the truth as I work in client-facing roles, but I must highlight are blatantly rude and dishonest, and will force you to be as well). - Poor Hiring Practices: The hiring practices at SecurityHQ are questionable at best. It seems that anyone can get into the company easily, regardless of their qualifications or fit for the role. This leads to a team that's often ill-equipped to handle the demands of the job, further exacerbating the existing issues. - Inadequate Compensation: The compensation and benefits did not reflect the effort and dedication required for the job. They won't pay a dime towards your training and development without making you sign commitments to staying in the company. While at first sight the compensation might seem competitive to you, do factor in that you'll be working 3x-5x times as much as any other role. While I find it despicable how Indian employees were treated, I understand the market there is different, and so are the standards, which is why you might see some decent reviews here from Pune employees. If you're in the UK, US or UAE — avoid them like the plague. It's not worth it unless you're getting 3x the salary (which you won't), you will receive the legal bare minimum pension. Do yourself a favor and say no to SecurityHQ. Same goes for current or future prospective clients.
