- Toxic culture from the top down
- Fundamental issues with certain senior staff members who have been promoted to their positions due to tenure, but lack the actual skills to do the job
- Fundamental issues with the product that were consistently brushed under the carpet, blamed placed on everyone else bar the people actually responsible, as these were usually people in upper management
- Lack of accountability
- Team cohesion encouraged in company-wide meetings but, in reality, frowned upon by certain members of upper management
- Spiteful comments and gossip
- Favouritism
This is just the tip of the iceberg. All of this was brought to the co-founders during my time at Webio, with concrete examples and proof, but nothing was ever actioned, demonstrating a lack of care towards employee well-being.
