      Avantages

      Great company brand, world leading HW design, very low SW technical challenge and just fine work-life balance

      Inconvénients

      Too much politics everywhere within SW org and not much collaboration cross the relative teams, also lack of motivation and no incentive for the SW innovation and just maintain decades old software code bases and infrastructures to keep the machine running just fine, trend to contract out most if not all of software work

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Our Software department is actively working to upgrade its processes and tooling, as we continuously seek to improve. Many may classify ASML a hardware company, but we actually have one of the world’s largest and most pioneering software communities. It is a recognized and integral player in our technology portfolio, and remains a focus for us.

      Avantages

      Advanced tools fantastic technology to learn from. If you have a good mentor learning is smooth.

      Inconvénients

      Management gets in the way of being an egineer. Customer driven as to be espected. Office jobs over shadow fab workers ( fab is looked down on ). Lazy coworkers work load is never balanced.
