Avantages
Great work culture, strong support system, digital-friendly tech and innovative mindsets. Lots of big brands, expertise specifically in the affiliate marketing sector, real thought leaders. They have a lot of perks such as flexible hours, work/life balance, and an annual summit along with hub meetups if you're in global teams. People are great. They are amazing, progressive, open to support and cater to your needs. Especiallly with a great process in to manage work and daily tasks, remote work can actually be efficient and scalable. I respect the founder as well, enjoyed his book Elevated in particular.
Inconvénients
Remote work does not mean no work. You got to put in your hours to get the job done. It is actually a bit pressuring to perform well for the client when you're in a client-facing role, and if you don't meet their standards, you put in more hours but the AP way is to be efficient and top-notch. They have high standards in outcome and if you're not meeting them, you are pushed to invest more time than what you have expected. I can say a flexible work hour option can also be totally inflexible if you don't have what it takes to get deliverables sent in seamless, perfection. I feel pain when strategy time comes round, being efficient and managing time is so difficult when you know your client has trust issues. Challenges and struggles are there, but I can say they do help me grow. I just don't know if it is my true passion to grow in those sectors at time, but then again, it is a job and not my company at the end of the day. I wish I can own it better, but especially for the non-English speaking countries, you can't get the support you need at times which is frustrating.
