Avantages
Good continued support from management with closing deals. Great people, everyone is willing to help each other out. It's like a close-knit community of friends where all employees seem genuinely close to one another.
Inconvénients
Those aforementioned great people just got made redundant Low pay Low appreciation Micro management Daily email updates from management reporting on how many minutes you spent on the phone, and how many calls you made As much time spent doing pointless spreadsheets and reports on your performance than trying to do your work You are expected to stay beyond work hours, and it seems like a faux pas to leave on time. If you're underperforming in the month/quarter, it's genuinely awkward and intimidating asking sales management for holiday time off. A couple of times I was denied, and I had to ask more than once for the time off which I obviously was entitled to. You have to fight for any benefits you are owed. You are entitled for up to two days off called 'Active X Days' where you can claim a day off or two after helping out at an event, or doing something charitable. Claiming these days from management was a nightmare, and they would dodge trying to give you this company approved time off when you ask for it.
