Avantages
Company as a whole tries hard to make sure employees feel valued, great benefits.
Inconvénients
Working in the services department is extremely stressful and very toxic work environment. There are almost 40 processes that we are expected to remember perfectly, with a 99.8% accuracy, that seems to be enforced only for certain individuals. There are cliques and certain teammates throw each other under the bus to management when they find each other’s errors. If you are struggling, management does little to nothing to take extra time to support us. Even when we ask, they are often too busy. Instead- you’re referred to your “pod chats” to ask your team.
They also tout the “flexible schedule” but in services, it's hardly easy. We're constantly reminded to “make appointments around your work hours” even though the main shifts are 8-4:30/8:30-5. And we can only work an extra hour a day to make up time. There is unlimited sick days, but the amount you call in is used on your review.
Everyone talks so highly of being at Acuity but in services it’s terrible. I hear it’s so much better in other areas but it’s hard to move out. The general consensus seems that many stay for the benefits not because they enjoy the work they do. Any concerns fall on deaf ears, especially if you aren’t a favorite.
If you want to work here, do not get in through billing.
