Avantages

So many pros. -Love the work from home option and most managers are flexible. They really do care about you as a person. -They are an extremely generous company. Lots of gifts and are intentional about giving. -Not a sales focused organization -You are able to flex time for Friday afternoons off, or every other Friday off. Huge perk. -Great parties and $ spent on employee engagement. -Unlimited sick time -Great 401k contributions

Inconvénients

Unfortunately there are many. But do not get me wrong, the pros outweigh the cons. -To put it simply, the vacation time sucks. Flexing does make up for some of this but it's lacking. When you bring it up, they say "we just updated the vacation time a few years ago." I know, and it still sucks. -A lot of $ spent on family type activities (summer picnic). Could be a pro for some, but a con for many of the millennials without children. -Do not get many holidays off. Used to get the 4th of July + the day before, and they silently took that away. Would be nice to get Juneteenth as well since they have been trying to focus on diversity and awareness. -Lack of focus on education - if you want to get your CPCU you have to pay for it up front. For the trip, they recently took away your free guest so you have to go alone. Basically discourages education and it's disappointing when benefits are taken away. -Salaries are a bit lower than industry.

Avantages

Company as a whole tries hard to make sure employees feel valued, great benefits.

Inconvénients

Working in the services department is extremely stressful and very toxic work environment. There are almost 40 processes that we are expected to remember perfectly, with a 99.8% accuracy, that seems to be enforced only for certain individuals. There are cliques and certain teammates throw each other under the bus to management when they find each other’s errors. If you are struggling, management does little to nothing to take extra time to support us. Even when we ask, they are often too busy. Instead- you’re referred to your “pod chats” to ask your team. They also tout the “flexible schedule” but in services, it's hardly easy. We're constantly reminded to “make appointments around your work hours” even though the main shifts are 8-4:30/8:30-5. And we can only work an extra hour a day to make up time. There is unlimited sick days, but the amount you call in is used on your review. Everyone talks so highly of being at Acuity but in services it’s terrible. I hear it’s so much better in other areas but it’s hard to move out. The general consensus seems that many stay for the benefits not because they enjoy the work they do. Any concerns fall on deaf ears, especially if you aren’t a favorite. If you want to work here, do not get in through billing.
