The work was challenging in a good way and provided exposure to enterprise SaaS, patient engagement, accessibility, mobile design, design systems, research, and cross-functional collaboration. I worked with many thoughtful, talented people who cared about improving the customer and patient experience. For designers who enjoy solving complex problems, advocating for users, and working across product and engineering, the role offered meaningful opportunities to learn and contribute.

The environment could be complex and sometimes difficult to navigate, particularly when priorities shifted or alignment across teams was still forming. Like many mature software organizations, there were challenges related to legacy workflows, technical constraints, competing business needs, and varying levels of design maturity across product areas. Success often required patience, persistence, and the ability to communicate clearly with many different stakeholders.
