I'm pretty passionate about working for a company with a strong moral compass, offering genuine purpose and fulfilment, and a fun environment which pushes me to upskill and improve: Airdev is a rare find and highly recommended -- Strong Values - Airdev always does right by customers and anchors every decision around delivering the highest quality products alongside an unrivalled client experience. I've not previously worked for a company that doesn't end up compromising on one of these things in some way until I started at Airdev, and it specifically makes my role well-supported and enjoyable. Awesome team - everyone lives the core values at the company which makes collaboration a total pleasure - whether that's coming to a decision around a tricky situation or kicking off a new initiative, there's a genuine sense of joint purpose, which I love. Also, nothing is set in stone, and the sense of always being in improvement-mode is great. Day to Day - I enjoy the high degree of autonomy. Not only the expectation that I'm setting my own initiatives and going after them, but also being encouraged to pivot if something isn't working, or to improve a process if I see a better way to do something. Guidance from managers is always helpful and I feel trusted, heard, and appreciated. If a change makes sense, they see that and are always open to a conversation. Benefits - The company has a conscientious approach to making sure I'm feeling good in and out of work. There's a fun and productive working vibe, generous benefits package, and a flexible schedule which has really helped me form a strong work/life balance than in other I've worked.
Inconvénients
You're well supported in your role - both in terms of helping-hands for day-to-day stuff, and also a proactive approach from management to offer longer term professional development. But that said... ... if you're not comfortable working autonomously with minimal instruction then this environment might not be for you. For instance, you'll be given high level idea or problem to tackle and execute on, rather than a prescribed list of 'to-dos' - it's expected you're not backward at coming forward and you'll need to enjoy a high level of responsibility & self-problem solving to thrive. This high-level of autonomy might be unnerving if you're not expecting it or used to it!
