Avantages
Nice main office. Training programs were pretty good. Management is always well dressed. There was a decent chance for advancement if you knew your stuff and took some initiative.
Inconvénients
Management won't be straight with their employees. Even if you confront them with an issue, and ask them directly if there is something going on.
I marked my employment as current because they never fired me, they took me off a site, started to cross train me at a number of sites, and then just stopped calling.
I confronted the management about this for a few weeks and was told they simply did not have any work for me, but would call me when something opened up... That was 8 years ago.
The reason I was black balled? A client complained that I was enforcing the policies they had laid out and delayed a visitor entry until cleared by the resident. That was it.
Management at Alert is more than willing to throw an employee under the bus if the client balks too much. Even if the employee is in the right and the client is in the wrong, they won't even ask any questions.
