Good pay and benefits, but culture is misleading - Avis employé Manager Altium Packaging

I have been at Altium Packaging now for almost four years working here in our corporate office in Atlanta, GA. I can genuinely say that I love working here and appreciate all of the people that I get to work with every day. Everyone is willing to step in and help and very fortunate to work with such great leaders.

The return to the office policy is a little strict but having a manager that is flexible and willing to work with me has made that much easier.

There are a lot of really kind and talented people at Altium, and the work is interesting. There are always alot of interesting projects, and there tends to be a lot of opportunity for growth for the right people. If you have a good manager, and there are many, it is a great place to work. Benefits are very good.

The new CEO has brought a culture of top-down micromanagement, and employees are evaluated by how much time they spend at their desks rather than the quality of their work. And yes he walks around and checks. It has become a culture where people are scared to make a decision. And the only thing that matters is cost-cutting.
